Thirsty farmers, Jac & Andrew delved into homebrewing beginning in 2006 while living in the Pacific Northwest. Inspired by the proximity to fresh hops and the delicious variety within the craft beer world of the west coast they took their homebrew hobby with them from Friday Harbor to San Diego then on to Maui and now back to New York.
They’ve been experimenting with growing hops for several seasons across the country, and in 2012 decided to grow the dream into a reality by putting in an acre hop yard on the family farm in Peconic, NY.
The dream continues to evolve, as does their vision to create a truly local beer with locally grown NY hops & barley. Farm To Pint.
