Marinating meat in beer = less cancer?

Beer lovers I have read an article claiming that marinating in beer reduces the risk of cancer. It is one of the scourges of human existence, which touches every family that I know of. The concept being that the known antioxidants in beer would offset the carcinogens form barbequing (that black crap from burning the meat). If this claim is true, it would be a happy convergence of beer and health. Here's an article talking about it some more: http://www.foxnews.com/health/2014/04/09/report-marinating-meat-in-beer-reduces-cancer-risk/

To CHUG, or not to CHUG?

Please help support the recently KickStarter funded show CHUG! The goal of its star and drink aficionado Lane Zamprey was $500,000 to produce six episodes. But the star of the older Three Sheets was supported to the tune of $591,804. I’m psyched to see the new show online at CHUG.tv.
